On the morning of March 30, with warm sunshine, the Tenth English Festival of Yucai 4th Primary School officially opened. After the solemn flag-raising ceremony, the two hosts who used the bilingual language, one in Chinese and the other one in English, successfully presided over the opening ceremony.
First of all, the host invited Hu Rexun, a student from Class Four Grade Three, who just won the first prize of the ‘video China’ English story competition. The winner shared her excellent English story with all the teachers and students again, which won everyone's applause. Then, the host introduced the various activities in the English festival and expected all the students to participate enthusiastically.
The most solemn moment – Principal Chen Xianping announced ‘the Tenth English Festival of Yucai 4th Primary School officially opened.’ in her fluent and standard English.
With the cheerful music ‘Celebrate ’, the flash activities from Class Four Grade Six brought the opening ceremony to a climax.
This English festival slogan is ‘Happy English, Happy Life. I believe I can do’. The foreign teachers Tim and Abby led all the teachers and students to read the slogan together, which made the entire campus full of English atmosphere.
